AGENDA
Discuss GGF15 – demos, group update, and small group discussions (agenda)

A. Demo Updates: 
1.	Advisor is pretty close to having an explicit Schema 2.0 query to run at GGF15 
(and always the fallback position). 
2.	perfSONAR is trying to get the versioning of the Schemas down – hope to have 
exception code information, and some old elements (such as characteristic 
element) that were removed in the past but the GEANT2 folks need. Bag of 
parameters (have been using generic parameters with some success and might 
want to use in the schemas – when you don’t want a specific element for 
something). JZ wasn’t expecting to do a perfSONAR demo at GGF15 but would 
be able to do so (JB was planning to do it originally). Plan is to make it a 
combined demo with the JRA1 group.

ML reported that there is a lot of interest in Europe in publishing the GridFTP logs – 
giving researchers access to the data. He suggested talking about this at GGF15 for 10-15 
minutes. 

B. Discussion Items
1. Pull out an item and not have to reference it for every single request packet. JB gave, 
as an example, timestamp. In many cases, it is known that the unit remains the same and 
the details do not have an effect on the specific request; this would reduce the time 
required to process requests.
2. Gatekeeper of schemas – how will the group deal with this, if it is requested of them?

that the group can identify all the topics that will be covered.
2.	Talks for GGF15 – ML, Eric Boyd, and JZ (see above).
